After the Colloquium has finished on Thursday evening, 14th June, members of JETCIX are invited to a social folk dance (Ceilidh) with a local club called "Danses sans Frontières" (DSF) at Villars, a small suburb on the northern outskirts of St Etienne. There will be live Scottish music provided by Pascal Rosiak (chromatic accordion), and French music played by two local musicians from Dozieux Yakafolké (Martine and Jean-Philippe) on diatonic button accordions. The JETCIX dance will officially begin at 22h00 and continue until midnight at "La salle de la Libération" Villars.
You are welcome at Danses sans Frontières after 21h00 when you can freely participate with members of DSF who will be practicing various dances from Israel. Some members of DSF will stay after 22h00 to assist with the fok dance (Ceilidh) for example if you need help with the dance or you are looking for a dancing partner.
It is important to indicate on registration that you wish to participate at the folk dance and to reserve a place on the coach for yourself, and any other accompanying person. There will be a small charge of 5 € per person.
The coach will leave Saint Etienne at 21h00 precisely returning at 00h30.
