Visa Requirements. The citizens of United States (US), some of the European Union (EU) countries, Canada, and United Arab Emirates (UAE) need a visa to enter Turkey. A 90-day tourist visa can be obtained upon arrival in Istanbul for a fee of 20 USD$ (or 15 €) for the US, EU, and UAE citizens and 60 USD$ (or 15 €) for Canadian citizens. The citizens of France, Germany and Italy among others can enter Turkey without a visa. However, we strongly urge the attendees to contact a Turkish embassy in their respective countries to find out the visa requirements.
