Practical information
This workshop is on invitation. A limited number of participants who are active in the field of lot-sizing are invited. A small registration fee of 200$ (CAD) will be required and each participant will have to cover his/her accommodation and travel expenses. If you are working in the field and want to participate but didn't get an invitation, please send an e-mail to raf.jans@hec.ca.
We are happy to announce that a limited number of scholarships will be available to cover part of the travel expenses for PhD students who present at the workshop. The current budget will allow us to give 5 scholarships of 1000$ (CAD) each. More information will come later.
As in the previous years, we foresee to have approximately 25 presentations in a single track.

- The student will give a presentation at the workshop.
- The student must have made a major contribution to the presented research (but the research itself can be written together with his/her supervisor(s) or other colleagues).
- The student will have to submit original bills which will allow the reimbursement of travel and lodging costs up to an amount of 1000$ (CAD).
An application file consists of the following elements:
- The abstract of the presented research (as it will appear in the booklet of abstracts).
- A short letter by the applicant including an indication of the contribution made by the student to this research.
- A CV of the applicant.
- A short letter of support from the PhD supervisor.
In case there are more applicants than scholarships available, the local organizing committee will make the final decision on who obtains the scholarships based on the quality of the research, the quality of the CV, and the fit with the scope of the conference. Applications need to be received at the latest by Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Applications should be emailed to raf.jans@hec.ca. The local organizing committee will make a decision by June 20, 2015.
