In the field of Security and more particularly Hardware Security, 2018 gets off to a flying start with the large scale communication of Meltdown and Spectre attacks, both exploiting vulnerabilities of modern processors. Earlier, another communication makes the headlines with a complete attack against smart lamps (“IoT goes nuclear”) highlighting - once more - the considerable extent of the threat against IoT networks.
In this context, PHISIC workshop aims at providing an environment for exchange among academic and industrial stakeholders of the embedded security arena. More precisely, PHISIC’2018 expects to:
