Scope

The 9th edition of the International Workshop on Lot Sizing will be held in Ubatuba, Brazil. The venue of the workshop is Itamambuca Eco Resort, located in the north coast of the State of São Paulo. The workshop starts on Wednesday, August 22 and ends on Friday, August 24 (2018).

As in the previous years (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017), the goal of the workshop is to cover recent advances in lot sizing: new approaches for classical problems, new relevant problems, integration of lot sizing with other problems such as scheduling, distribution or vehicle routing, presentation of case studies, etc. The workshop will also aim at favoring exchanges between researchers and enhancing fruitful collaboration.

  • Short abstract (up to 1,000 characters) submission deadline: 18 May 2018;
  • Confirmation of accepted abstracts: 25 May 2018;
  • Extended version of accepted abstract (up to 4 pages) submission deadline: 01 June 2018;
  • Registration deadline: 08 June 2018.
