Practical information

A limited number of participants who are active in the field of lot-sizing are invited. No registration fee is required: each participant will have to cover his/her accommodation and travel expenses. If you are working in the field and want to participate but didn't get an invitation, please send an e-mail to iwlsporto@fe.up.pt.

Accommodation

The venue of the workshop is the "Foundation Manuel António da Mota" that is inside "Market Bom Sucesso", which is located about 2km from the old city center of Porto. The address is Praça do Bom Sucesso, 74-90, Floor 1, 4150-146 Porto. There are several hotels within 5/10 minutes walking distance of the venue:

4-star hotels:

• Hotel da Música (85 rooms) | Just next to the venue!
• Hotel HF Fénix Porto (148 rooms)

3-star hotels:

• Hotel HF Tuela Porto (197 rooms)
• Hotel Douro (45 rooms)

If you plan to stay in a hotel closer to the city center, you can reach the workshop venue by metro and leaving at "Casa da Música" station. You can use this website to plan your trip. The picture below shows the workshop venue (same as Hotel da Música), the nearby hotels and metro station "Casa da Música".
