To the center of Rotterdam

By plane

Nearby airports in the Netherlands are Amsterdam-Schiphol (AMS; 66 km) and Rotterdam-The Hague (RTM; 6 km).

Schiphol Airport:When arriving at Schiphol International Airport (Amsterdam), take the train to Rotterdam Centraal. Schiphol Airport has six direct train connections per hour to Rotterdam Centraal, which is situated in the middle of Rotterdam. The trip from Amsterdam to Rotterdam takes about 50 minutes, and by high speed train only 26 minutes. A train ticket, as well as a tram/bus/metro card, can be purchased at the Schiphol train station. At Rotterdam Centraal you walk to the main entrance of the station and take the relevant tram, bus, metro or taxi.

Rotterdam The Hague Airport: Rotterdam The Hague Airport, serving 34 flight connections to many major European cities, is a comfortable and convenient regional airport, just six kilometres from the city centre of Rotterdam. Travel times between the airport and the city are excellent: 15 minutes by taxi and 20 minutes by public transport (airport shuttle) to Rotterdam Central Station.

By high-speed train

International direct trains to Belgium, France and Germany run frequent daily services from Rotterdam Central Station. Travel times from some major cities are shown below.

Eurostar: The Eurostar is the high-speed train with daily services to Londen, Ebbsfleet and Lille to Brussels South. From Brussels The Channel "crossing" only takes 21 minutes, and from the Channel Tunnel to Brussels, the Eurostar can travel up to 300 km/h. By car

By public transport

By tram

From Central Station, take Tramline 7 into the direction of Willemsplein and stop at Westplein. This stop is in front of the entrance of Grand Café - Restaurant LOOS. From there it's a 3-minute walk to the Veerhaven. See the following link for walking directions:: google maps

By metro

Take the metro line D in the direction of De Akkers/Spijkenisse or line E in the direction of Slinge and stop at station Leuvehaven. From there it's a 13-minute walk to the Veerhaven. See the following link for walking directions: google maps

By car

In case you come by car, be aware of the fact that in the whole area of the Scheepvaartkwartier (the name of the workshop venue area) you have to pay for parking your car. Only parking between 18:00 PM and 09:00 AM is free of charges.
