Call for Papers on Artificial Intelligence Methodologies for Advanced Decision Processes in Healthcare Organizations
Flexible Services and Manufacturing Journal is seeking submissions to a forthcoming Special Issue on Artificial Intelligence Methodologies for Advanced Decision Processes in Healthcare Organizations.
- Artificial Intelligence Methodologies for Advanced Decision Processes in Healthcare Organizations
Closes December 31, 2022
The 2022 meeting of the Gestion et ingénierie des Systèmes Hospitaliers (GISEH) is focused on “Impact of new technologies artificial intelligence on healthcare organizations”, while the 2022 meeting of the EURO Working Group on Operational Research Applied to Health Services (ORAHS) is focused on “ORAHS in the Red Zone”. These themes reflect the new upcoming challenges faced by all health care organizations, both in their regular activity and in responding to emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic. See the GISEH 2022 website and the ORAHS 2022 website for more information.
This special issue deals with these challenges, and aims at collecting applicative but also theoretical works on innovative decision processes, technological solutions, and artificial intelligence approaches aiming at supporting healthcare organizations. Manuscripts on all areas of industrial engineering and operational research applied to health services will be considered, including the following:
- Data Science and Management
- Patient Process Management and Care Pathways
- Workforce Scheduling
- Capacity Planning
- Traceability, design and impact of new technologies
- Integrated information systems
- Monitoring and control of care systems (data warehousing, data mining)
- Quality and maintenance of hospital systems
- Emergency Medical Systems
- COVID-19 and Pandemic response
- Healthcare in Disaster Settings
- Epidemiology and Disease Modelling
We encourage contributions from presenters at GISEH 2022 and ORAHS 2022, but at the same this special issue is open to all researchers interested in the topic, even if they did not present a contribution at these conference.
The above list is not exhaustive, and papers on other topics associated with advances related to this topic will be welcomed. Submitted papers should fulfil the scope of Flexible Services and Manufacturing Journal, all will undergo a regular revision process.
Submission Guidelines
